Terms
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms apply to the Otsukai website, the app, the paid endpoints, the facilitator, the SDK and the MCP server. By using them you accept these terms.
What Otsukai is
Otsukai is software. The accounts are smart contracts that you deploy and own; we hold no keys to them and cannot move, freeze or recover your funds. The rules of an account (agent keys, limits, payees) are set by you and enforced by the contract code, not by us.
Your responsibilities
- You keep your wallet and your agent keys safe. Anyone holding an agent key can spend within its limits.
- You choose your payees and your limits. Payments that the contract accepts are final.
- You comply with the laws that apply to you, including sanctions and tax rules.
Paid endpoints
The quote and holdings endpoints return data read from public onchain sources at the time of the call. Prices move and pools change; the data is not investment advice and comes with no guarantee that a trade will execute at that price. A call is paid when its payment settles; the response is sent after settlement.
Facilitator
Our facilitator submits payments for payees in the Otsukai directory, above a minimum of $0.005, with a rate limit per account. We may refuse or delay a settlement to protect the service. Any payee can settle a payment by calling the contract directly.
Fees
Once the fee vault is set, each payment carries a fee of 0.5% of the amount, paid by the account on top of it. The fee rate is fixed in the contract and cannot be changed.
Risks
Smart contracts can contain bugs. USDG is issued by a third party that can freeze any address. Networks can halt or reorganise. Use amounts you can afford to lose and read the contracts before you rely on them.
No warranty and limits
The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by the chain, a token issuer, your wallet or your agent.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. Contracts already deployed keep working under their own code.
